On Friday, June 9th, an off-site Employee Recognition event is planned for all employees of the Delaware Division of Corporations. Division personnel will not be available between the hours of 11:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. and there will be no evening shift after 7:00PM. As a result, the following changes to priority service will be in effect:
• 30-minute, one-hour and two-hour priorities will not be processed between the hours of 11:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. and must be submitted prior to 10 A.M. to be processed prior to the employees leaving for the recognition event
• All two-hour priorities must be received by 4:00 P.M.
• All 30-minute and one-hour priorities must be received by the state by 5:00 P.M.
Although the Delaware Secretary of State employees will be offsite, UCS will still be able perform the following services:
• Obtain Good Standing Certificates/Certified Copies/Status checks
• File annual reports and pay franchise taxes
• Obtain Apostilles
• Conduct UCC searches
• File UCC1 and UCC3 electronically
• Submit filings up until 10:29 P.M.
Keep in mind that there is also the option of submitting the documents using June 9th as the future effective date and receiving the evidence of filing before Friday.
Expect delays for receiving evidence of filing when the state reopens on Monday, June 12th.
