Client Service Representative (CSR)

Position Purpose and Objective:

The Client Service Representative (CSR) is the primary point of contact for clients to place orders with UCS. In this position the CSR is expected to provide these services with enthusiasm and knowledge of both UCS’ capabilities and an understanding of the customers’ needs. They are also responsible for communicating billing terms, services, and product offerings.

Essential Job Functions:

This job description summarizes the primary and essential duties required for this position but are only a portion of all duties. Other related duties may be assigned as needed by management. The responsibilities listed below, under the supervision of management, are as follows:

  • Offer one stop service through having an understanding how to navigate through the UCS organization to find answers, organize the information, and deliver a complete solution to the client
  • Project a helpful and confident attitude when dealing with clients using effective communication techniques and best practice written and call etiquette
  • Enter all necessary information for new orders into the UCS Projects System
  • Develop extensive knowledge on various state statues and requirements
  • Oversee the progress of all orders from inception until invoiced and closed
  • Provide timely and helpful responses to all general inquires, order confirmations and requests
  • Be an advocate for the customer internally and represent the UCS brand promise externally
  • Prioritize incoming customer requests effectively to satisfy individual client needs
  • Participate in the training and development of new CSRs and CSAs
  • Work collaboratively with Client Service Assistant (CSA)
  • Assist in collection of outstanding receivables
  • Determine credit worthiness of clients
  • Thoroughly review all orders for accuracy
  • Efficiently manage timely invoicing for services rendered
  • Ensure delivery of completed orders to clients

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Subject matter expertise in Corporate/UCC filing and document retrieval process
  • Willingness to develop product and industry knowledge by utilizing training, tools and resources available
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Develop solid working relationships with your peers, Project Associates, clients and correspondents
