Delaware Secretary of State Employee Recognition Event -Friday, March 17th

Please mark your calendars to note that utilizing Delaware expedited priority services will be affected on Friday, March 17th as the Delaware Secretary of State will be hosting a Division Employee Recognition Event.

Personnel in the Division will not be available between 1:00 P.M. and 1:30 P.M. ET and the office will close at 8:00 P.M.

All 30 Minute and one-hour service requests must be received by 6 P.M. ET.  All two-hour service requests must be received by 5 P.M ET while all other cut-off times will remain unchanged.

Key Points to Know:

Corporate

• Even though the State is closing early, customers can obtain the file date of March 17^th, as normal.  However, no evidence will be returned between 1:00 pm-1:30 P.M. ET or after 8:00 P.M. ET.
• March 17^th CAN be used as a future effective date.
• Good Standings, Certified Copies, and Plain Copies are available as usual.
• Ability to reserve names, pay franchise tax, and obtain blank annual reports will not be affected by the closure.

UCC

• Even though the State is closing early, customers can obtain the file date of March 17^th, as normal.  However, no evidence will be returned between 1:00 pm-1:30 P.M. ET or after 8:00 P.M. ET.
• UCC Searches, document retrievals, corporate plain/certified copies, and good standings will not be affected by the closure and will be processed throughout the day.
• XML and WEB filing will be available as usual.
